JP Raynaud trained at Toulouse and Paris universities. Predominantly working as a clinician, he is head of department and professor of child and adolescent psychiatry at Toulouse University Hospital. Member of a research unit at French Institute for Health and Medical Research (INSERM), he works on factors of vulnerability among children and adolescents. He is member of the board of European Society for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (ESCAP) and director of the ESCAP Clinical Division.
