The 2023 Research Academy meeting of the European Society for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (ESCAP) will take place in Copenhagen from 27th to 28th of June 2023, just prior to the ESCAP main congress (29th June - 1st July, Copenhagen, Denmark). The theme will be "ADHD and emotional dysregulation". We are delighted to announce that Samuele Cortese, Argyris Stringaris, Johannes Hebebrand and Julie Hagstrøm are confirmed as speakers.
The aims of our annual meetings are to promote research excellence and collaborative work among early career clinician-scientists in the field of child and adolescent psychiatry (CAP). The ESCAP Research Academy wishes to support early careers by promoting training, encouraging collaborations and by providing a forum to share experiences with senior world leading researchers in psychiatry. Registration for the Research Academy is free. Delegates will have to cover their travel and accommodation expenses.
This 2-day meeting will be chaired by two clinician-scientists, Paul Klauser and Alexis Revet, and by Johannes Hebebrand, former Editor-in-Chief of European Child + Adolescent Psychiatry (ECAP) and head of the ESCAP Research Division. Attendees are asked to collaborate within a network after the meeting to tackle a research question at the European level (see some examples here: Revet et al. Eur Child Adolesc Psychiatr 2018; Barrett et al. Eur Child Adolesc Psychiatr 2020; Revet et al. Eur Child Adolesc Psychiatry 2021a ; Revet et al. Eur Child Adolesc Psychiatry 2021b).
Applications are now closed and successful applicants will be informed before the Early Bird Deadline for the ESCAP 2023 congress closes on 10 April 2023.
