Vera Clemens, M.D., MPH, holds the junior professorship for clinical and preclinical trauma consequences at the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry/Psychotherapy at Ulm University Hospital and is working as a child and adolescent psychiatrist. Dr. Clemens is certified in child protection and is working as a consultant in the Medical Child Protection Hotline, a nationwide helpline for medical professionals. Her research focuses on the neurobiological and clinical consequences of adverse childhood experiences.
